We are breeders of Labradoodles and Goldendoodles located in Peace River, Alberta. We also deliver to surrounding areas, Edmonton and Calgary, we can also ship Canada wide. At Aspen Doodles, we believe every puppy deserves a joyful beginning filled with love, care, and the best start possible. Based in Alberta, Canada, we have dedicated 4500 sq feet of indoor living space in our loving home and 3 acres of outdoor space for our mums, dads and pups. Our mission is to raise healthy, happy, and well socialized Doodles that become beloved members of your family for years to come.

Our journey began with Abby, Mia and Knight – three wonderful dogs who inspire our dedication to ethical and thoughtful breeding. We proudly run a program that emphasizes health, temperament and lifelong wellness.
Health and Wellness First
All are puppies are GANA (Goldendoodle Association of North America) or DKC (Designer Kennel Club) registered, depending on the type of doodle. We conduct genetic testing and partner with trusted veterinarians for thorough health screenings of parents and pups to ensure that your puppy is free from common hereditary issues. Every pup receives individualized care from the womb to their new forever home and family.
Early Neurological Stimulation & Socialization (ENS)
We focus on Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and comprehensive early puppy handling protocols to support healthy brain development. Our pups are introduced to gentle handling, cognitive enrichment and exposure to everyday sights and sounds to build confidence and resilience.
Early Scent Introduction (ESI)
At Aspen Doodles, we believe a puppy’s development begins long before they leave our care. That’s why we incorporate Early Scent Introduction (ESI) into our puppy program. It is a proven method to enrich your puppy’s sensory development and support confident, well-rounded temperaments.
Obedience, Temperament and Aptitude Testing
Each puppy undergoes basic obedience training, basic house training, temperament testing and aptitude assessments so you can feel confident about their personality and potential. This thorough approach ensures that our puppies grow into well rounded, trainable companions.
Transparent and Supportive
From day one of initial communication to long after your puppy joins your family, we are here to answer all your questions, offer guidance and celebrate every milestone together. We will share with you progress on your puppy from the womb to when they are ready to go home with you with photos and videos, so you are involved in your puppy’s life from Day 1 and can follow their journey until their forever home with you.
Ethical and Responsible Breeding
We are committed to ethical, responsible breeding with a focus on health, temperament and development. Each of our puppies receives vet care, early socialization, development and lots of love before joining their forever homes.
At Aspen Doodles, the health and well-being of our moms and dads is always our highest priority. We believe that responsible breeding begins with ensuring that our parent dogs are given the time, care and respect they deserve before ever becoming parents. For this reason, we do not breed our dogs until they have reached at least 2 years of age, the point at which dogs achieve complete physical, emotional, mental and sexual maturity, and we stop breeding after 7 years of age, which is when they are retired and spend the rest of their lives in loving homes. This not only preserves the health of our mums and dads but also ensures that their puppies are born stronger, healthier and more resilient. To ensure mums health and well-being, we also only breed her once a year, allowing lots of time for recovery, rest and play.
By allowing our mums and dads to reach full maturity, we set the foundation for the best possible start in life for every Aspen Doodle puppy. All our mums and dads are carefully genetically and health tested to reduce the risk of hereditary conditions. We are proud to stand behind every puppy, offering support and guidance to their families long after they leave our home.
To ensure ethical breeding, we only breed mum when we have a minimum of 6 reserved puppies for each litter. This careful approach prevents overbreeding, allowing us to plan responsibly and guarantees that every puppy is going to a loving home. Our waitlist is filling quickly so we encourage family to complete an application to secure a spot for a puppy

Coming Soon in 2026
We are excited to announce that our first official litters of Doodles will be ready in 2026! We will have DKC registered Labradoodles by mum Skye and dad Ricky.
In 2027 we will have GANA registered Goldendoodle pups and DKC registered Teddybear Doodle pups. While we prepare for this new chapter, follow our journey to adulthood with our parent pups – Abby, Mia and Knight, right here on our Website, our Facebook page and on Instagram.
